Patch Issue - Help Needed
 

I installed the patch file in the same location as my original version and when I open the game it tells me "no SP games available" but all the files are in my universe folder.

How can I fix this?

I just downloaded the patch 6.0e may game tells me I still have version 6.0d

I downloaded it to C Program files bla bla bla. FOF 2007... Now should I have sent it to the Universe or what

I had to uninstall 6.0d first and then install 6.0e for mine to work. The good thing was that all my league stuff didn't get erased.

If ya uninstall the 6.0d version and install a completely differnt one 6.0e how does all your previous league stuff still be there

I don't know. Good question. I did it twice and it worked both times.

The League I'm in FFL we are switching over to 2007 we haven't done anything yet so I better get this done before we do..I hope I do this correctly

I know one thing for sure, for me anyway. Every time I install Icy INTERFACE GRAPHICS MODS for 6.0e, my game converts back to 6.0d.

My properties say version 6.0
no d or e. it does say it was modified on may 2 though. Which version am i running?

I just removed it altoghter add/remove programs No uninstall options... see what happens now..

d/l the patch and install it or use your elicense to reinstall the whole game again with version 6.0e.

When I went to do the patch it showed verison 4.1 and an ass load of #'s after.???? I will use elicense

Where in the heck do you go to use this stupid ass elicense. Ive danced all over the damn Site just short of having to buy the damn thing again.. Where is it

If you had FOF2k7 already installed and licensed on your computer prior to this patch, you don't need to worry about elicense. There's no need to mess with the license.

To install the patch, just go to add/remove programs and remove FOF2k7. It will uninstall the game but not your data files.

Then double click the patch file and install the game to the same directory where you had it before.

That's all there is to it.

If you had customized images in your previous install, they will be gone. You will need to redo those.

don't look at the file's properties.

Assuming you have installed the patch, click on the little solecismic icon in the very top right corner of the game. It will open the "about" dialog box and on the bottom right will show you which version you are running.

I didn't have to delete my 6.0d version the new patch installed over it.
My screen says 6.0e. :)
