80's cartoon buffs wanted
I was just discussing the finer points of crappy cartoons in the 80s and the fact that nobody died in all the explosions in GI Joe or Transformers when I remembered a cartoon that I think was called Star Rangers that actually had death and destruction in each episode.
I can't find any traces of this on The Google. Am I remembering this wrong or is my google-age just not up-to-the-challenge? I recall the uniforms being white and blue and maybe some cowboy hats or something. |
Silverhawks?

Close, but I don't think it is it. I remember them having a star type badge and one of the guys may have had a bionic arm or something. |
Fist of the North Star?

my money would be on Galaxy Rangers based on his despcription/guess at the title

Was it the one with the mammoth spaceship that looked like a boat? Theme song ended with something like "Our...Star...Rangers!"? I've searched for this in the past, and haven't ever found much. But, looks like I'm not the only one to remember this.
(unless I'm just remembering something else and getting the name wrong) |

No problem.
When i tell my kids that way back in my cartoons were mostly on Saturdays and only from 8-12 they look at me like i am an alien. Then i throw in that we had to get up to see what was on the 5-7 channels on TV they just leave the room and think i am nuts. |
