What you've always wanted: Curling!
Lots of jokes about Front Office Curling have been made. Maybe you can't sim it, but it looks like you can play it now.....

My g-d, there really is a curling game!

Awsome... I'l have to check that out.
If people bothered to actually watch curling I think more people would find it enjoyable. It's good to watch, but better to play. |

I agree wholeheartedly, although I have found it hard to follow the last few years what with the WCT or whatever it's called stealing all the good curlers from the good events. |
I really enjoyed the curling that was shown on cable here during the Olympics. Sort of like chess on ice.
|
I don't follow all the curling events... I'm satisfied with the Brier, Scott, World Championships, and the Olympics.
On another note... Newfoundland & Labrador almost won the Scott last week, Team Canada(the defending champs) bet us in the final. |
|
they are doing human curling on my campus this week.
|
I actually have Take Out Weight Curling. It's a fun diversion, but you have to play human against human because the computer AI strategy is pretty week. The physics are a little off as well as I've never seen a house that lively anywhere.
|
If it doesn't have a career mode i don't want it.
|
I'm stunned someone even has this.
|
It's a Canadian thing...
|
The three things that most identify small towns in Canada is the presence of a post office, a Royal Canadian Legion and a curling club. In fact, I'm going to the Brier for the full week in Halifax. The final should be sold out with about 8500 fans. Total attendance for the week is hoped to be above 125,000.
|
I've heard they're coming out with a Bocce-Ball simulator, with full career mode including neighborhood park and retirement center tournament options, based on the Doom III graphics engine using the AI logarythms from Championship Manager 4. It was just a rumor though.

You canadians are the bomb! A POST OFFICE! Wild, man, wild. ;) |
Well, think about small towns in America....
Post Office VFW Post Bowling Alley Aren't we all just the same? :) |
True. Very true.
Bowling sucks. Curling sucks. But they both can be tons of fun over a case of beer. |
Curling doesn't suck!!!!!!!!
I think it's a law in Canada that if you have a population of over 100 people you HAVE to have a curling rink. |

Wouldn't surprise me. |
