Yes, it's this hangnail, you see.

Just kidding.

Actually, I hated that movie. Felt dumber for watching it. No offense, you may feel the same from Memento.

Hyde 02-26-2003 06:14 PM

The Godfather

Hehehe, you know me :p ;) When will you be here?

Karim 02-26-2003 09:33 PM

This really has to be narrowed down by genre but...

Aliens or Scarface

dawgfan 02-26-2003 09:56 PM

Wow, boiling it all down to one? That's a tough task. If forced at gunpoint though, I'd say Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead. I keep hoping it will someday appear on DVD, or that I'll find a used laserdisc copy...

SplitPersonality1 02-26-2003 09:59 PM

The Autobiography of Miss Jane Pitmann

Yikes, you won't catch me renting The Ring. I don't want to die...

My favorites are:

Alice In Wonderland (cartoon version)
Field Of Dreams
Apocalypse Now

korme 02-26-2003 10:56 PM

I don't think I could pick one.

Snatch, no, Good Will Hunting. Wait, Lock Stock was a classic. But can't forget Memento (no pun intended!), or Shawshank...

korme 02-26-2003 10:57 PM

Damn, or Mallrats...

Really? My brother has the entire Stanley Kubrick collection, and I've never seen this. I might have to watch it.

Brace yourself - it's not for the feint of heart. Definitely worth seeing though...

Chief Rum 02-27-2003 03:01 AM

Good to see that my favorite, The Shawshank Redemption, is getting so many mentions here.

As many have said, though, it's very hard to limit it to one. I got a brain cramp once trying to figure it all out, so I settled on Shawshank and haven't looked back. :)

A second vote for Pulp Fiction

Also a second vote for

Rushmore???? I felt less intelligent for having watched it.

Bad-example 02-27-2003 09:02 AM

Monty Python and the Holy Grail

A Clockwork Orange

WSUCougar 02-27-2003 09:28 AM

CK#12 02-27-2003 10:58 AM

The Godfather, The Outlaw Josey Wales or Ferris Bueller's Day Off, depending on what mood I am in

Aylmar 02-27-2003 11:07 AM

Tough call...

Probably one of a few

A Few Good Men
Unforgiven
As Good As It Gets

MylesKnight 02-27-2003 11:10 AM

Two Words.... OFFICE SPACE!!

By the way, I saw BLOW for the first time last night.. A very interesting movie, but it sure is hard to take Pee Wee Herman seriously. :D
