Quin Snyder sighting!
He's surfaced to take the coaching job in Austin. Of the D-League Toros, thankfully, and not the 'Horns. He's taking over the coaching reins after the untimely death of DJ.

Here's pic of him, showing to what lengths he would go through to get another coaching gig: ![]() |

Honestly, I'd had no idea that he was no longer coaching at Missouri. Oops. Well, have fun in the D-League, Quin. What's next? The CBA? The ABA? What about that basketball league Terrell Owens played in? Way to move up after leaving a pretty good NCAA program!

I'm kind of surprised this guy is so apparently uhireable in the college ranks, unless there's stuff I don't know. He's very young, has some good years with some Missouri and then some medicore ones, and then had allegations against his coaching staff that were never substantiated.

I thought he did ok at Missouri. The expectations on him were just crazy, for some reason.

There's a lot more to this situation than just the coaching aspect. Family issues as well as some personal battles of his own are just as much to blame. He hasn't even really looked for a job up until now. He likely got this job because has a lot of connections in the NBA. |
Heard a brief interview with him on KFNS sports talk radio today. Dude's in serious defensive mode, deflecting all the predictable questions and stating frequently how this is where he wants to be and it's perfect for him. Not quite sure why he did the interview, frankly.

Wow- guess that sound was Quin flushing the rest of his career down the toilet.

This is easy. He can't coach, as in, he does'nt know how. He cheats, and is bad at that.
He is untouchable in the college ranks. |
Actually, he is probably on Illinois list of candidates if/when that job ever opens up
