Today, MyFootballClub announces a new supporter – sports games brand EA SPORTS™

The interest from global corporations has been incredible, however, MyFootballClub will be careful to choose relevant companies who can help the football club and its members on and off the pitch.

EA SPORTS will be supporting us with a significant investment, which will be revealed to investors once a club has been bought. 100% of the money given by EA SPORTS will go towards buying the football club.

Dan Holman, EA SPORTS UK Marketing Manager, said, "MyFootballClub are seeking to make history by buying a football club on behalf of its members. It’s all about putting a club back in the hands of the fans, a cause widely approved in footballing circles and by us here at EA SPORTS."

I signed for up for this a couple months back... seems like the EA thing would kind of against the grain of the whole thing. I would need more info on exactly how they would be involved and what they expect to get out of it.

Well, i just logged back in as was able to make my payment without an issue. Weird.

Do they say what four teams they're in talks with?

Haven;t seen anything yet, but one has to be Cambridge since it was in a TV interview that they posted a youtube clip of on the site.

I think Cambridge is one from all I have heard, and I would have no problem with that.

You guys sure it's not a scam? The pay upfront stuff sounds a little bit fishy...

I have credit card protection in such a case and the amount is worth the risk.
