I introduce to you my new website, Every Funny Link ( www.everyfunnylink.com ).

You'll find it somewhat (maybe even more than somewhat) similar to some other websites in it's purpose and content, but my intent is to keep it simple.

No news stories. No photoshop contests. Just links to make you laugh.

Anyone (with proper registration and approval, of course!) can submit that link they got on their work e-mail, or happened upon in a random Google search.

Anyone (with proper registration) can post their reactions to the links provided.

Please indulge me by checking out the site, and if so inclined, sign up to post links! Bookmark it to check out the daily links!

Nice. It's easy on the eyes and would probably a good place to submit all the YouTube links we submit here. You might want to make a submission form in the future to make it much easier to define and control the content.

Otherwise I like the format, because it loads pretty quickly due to the fact that you don't have a lot of overhead with graphics or crazy animations. It's good to see that your focus is on the content itself. Good luck with this. I hope it takes off.

I bookmarked the site last week sometime and it's in the collection of bookmarks that I visit everyday.

I really like the fact that you tag it with image or video, as I'm really not too interested in watching videos unless it comes uber highly recommended, so the quickness of identification is helpful. :)

Antmeister, for reference sake, how would you implement such a submission tool? Are you looking for something that would provide the viewer an opportunity to post their own content exactly as currently shown on the site, or basically just a tool to send the content to me for posting?

Both, but much more of the latter. I think it will make it much easier for you to handle the submissions if there is an established format. Plus this could go directly to a database for your approval which expidites how quickly the content is posted on the site.

Otherwise it will be more time consuming to sift through the emails to figure out the titles and the links. In the beginning, you could probably handle the load, but if this starts to gather more of an audience, you will find a submission form much more easier to deal with. It doesn't have to be fancy or anything. Probably something like Title (Limited to possibly 100 characters), Description (limited possibly to 500 characters) and Suggested Tag (maybe this could be a drop down menu of your current tags).

Makes a hell of a lot of sense, I'll have to look into doing this.

Wow...impressed with what you have done with the site thus far in a short amount of time. The changes you have just made has made it a lot easier to sort through. Good layout and I am glad that you have the advertising near the bottom on the main page.

Only suggestion is possibly placing a horizontal rule between the heading/description and the content. When I went into the anagram topic, I didn't know where the content was supposed to begin, until I looked it over a couple of times.

Nothing big, but it makes it easier for those that just want to move their eyes to the meat of the content.

Besides that, good job!

Just another quick update....categories and monthly archives are now organized just like the front page so you can easily navigate to the content you're trying to find.

Only the content pages themselves show the full page.

I like the look - a lot. Less flash, more stuff. perhaps make it clear before clicking on the link whether its a video, flash file, NSFW, etc etc..

This has been implemented (to some extent).

Basically, clicking on the "Submit" link will now take the user (must be registered and logged in) to a posting page where you can enter your own entire post, including uploads.

I will monitor these posts for approval and publication to the website.

Enjoy! (This means register and use the submission link!)
