PING: Sega Genesis Hockey Gamers
 

I am looking for the name of this old game, it was originally an arcade game, but it made its way over to Sega. It was I believe 3 on 3 or 4 on 4 with big guys with beards and missing teeth, and every team was either yellow, blue red or green I believe. Every game started with the National Anthem ending and it was just a blast to play but for the life of me I can't remember the name of this game.

I loved Hit the Ice at arcades.

Hit the Ice in the arcade, if you entered the "super goalies" cheat, was actually a very realistic hockey sim for the time. You had to really work to score, and you could play a full game that ended like 3-2.

The Genesis had great Hockey games for it's time. Hit the Ice was a definite blast.

I enjoy playing Hit The Ice on MAME.

Hit the ICe was the shitt. But this ROCKED for its time....
