Lawn help

I need some help here, I think it could be a brown batch or fungus problem.
Maybe something else?

The bare dirt areas are where dead grass has been removed.
This happened last year, and now this year, pratically the same area.

My guess is a fungus, can't be chinch bugs cause I put granules down to control these.

A few months ago this area was very nice, now it's not.

I use a mulching mower, and cut at the highest.

Suggestions?

Layer it all with concrete.

Yes, a good option, won't happen though.

Maybe I really should.

If there's grass on the field, play ball.

I have the same thing in my yard. Unfortunately I know what is causing it and there isn't anything I can do about it.

Get a spade and turn your dirt over. Then get some turf-builder and reseed. Might be a high acidity problem in your soil, and that used to be what they recommended for that.

Or call Tru-Green and watch them like a hawk when they come out to do any applications. Not unknown for their drivers to pull up to a house, plant some flags and drive off. More time for lunch.

Better yet, they go to the wrong address. (ex: 0000 Smith Street, and my address is 0000 Doe Street, same house number, wrong neighborhood).

To clarify, the address above is not real, just an example.
