Survivor FOFC CHALLENGE #2

One of the favorite games of the FOFC is called IWS (or I’m with stupid). The rules are simple. I will ask 5 questions. Each of you are to PM me with your answers to those five questions. You will receive a point for each person who has the same answer as you gave (plus one point for your own answer), and then all of your points for each question are multiplied together to get your final score. The team with the highest combined score is the winner and will have immunity. The loser will be heading off to tribal council.

Dolamites, you have one extra player so someone will be sitting out. I have randomly selected Radii to sit this game out.

Note: this is only for Survivor FOFC contestants. No other need apply

1. give an emoticon other than :)
2. Give an FOFC poll
3. Name someone who played in this year’s Super Bowl
4. Name a hall of Famer who never went to an NFL championship or Super Bowl
5. Name a top football college

Needless to say, no discussion is allowed. Please stay honest.
You have 24 hours to get your answers in.

Won't this event be very subject to collusion?

Draft Dodger 02-28-2003 01:46 AM

good point...

maybe you can only get points for answers that match the other team?

Raven 02-28-2003 01:46 AM

I agree. And even though we all can say we won't cheat, if two members from one tribe decide to, it could be enough to seal that teams victory.

I'll PM you anyway, but I hope you change the challenge.

Edit: The others bring up a good point. I like the idea, but it's impossible to police this...

Swaggs 02-28-2003 01:51 AM

The problem w/ trying to match the other team would be that I can answer question #1 w/ a color or name of a city.

Perhaps matching multiple choice questions vs the other team?

good point.

but multiple choice spoils the fun of IWS.

stkelly52 02-28-2003 01:54 AM

I was worried about the collusion thing, but I because IWS is so much a part of FOFC I wanted to keep it in. But I like the idea of only getting points for those that match the other teams, so we will go with that plan instead (you will still get one point for your own answer so that we don't have any x0 problems).

For every answer that matches your opponent's you will recieve a point, and they will be multiplied together

Swaggs 02-28-2003 01:59 AM

What if I put Rutgers for the best college football team? :)

Exactly. The teams could colude to put in off the wall answers. Are we just going to trust everyone? Cause I don't trust those damn Dolomites any further than I could throw them...:)

Then you are penalized 100 points

stkelly52 02-28-2003 02:08 AM

If they put all off the wall answers, then they will not get any points

stkelly52 02-28-2003 02:09 AM

Seriously, if I feel that people are cheating by not posting realistic answers then I will take action. As it is I think that everyone here will play fair.

JeeberD 02-28-2003 02:10 AM

OK, I guess that will work. But what happens if there's a tie? Will there be a runoff round or will both teams go to tribal council?

stkelly52 02-28-2003 02:15 AM

There will be a runoff round. It will involve just two people and myself.

JeeberD 02-28-2003 02:17 AM

Alright, sounds good. Thanks!

stkelly52 02-28-2003 02:19 AM

Coming up with non-controversial challenges is tough.
