One of the clients I work with is Jack Daniel's Whiskey, we had a request today for a "Nip Glass". No one here seems to know what that is, and before we contact the customer back and look like idiots, I figured I'd check here and see if anyone knew or had heard of one of these and could tell me what it is.

It appears to be a type of drinking glass from google searching.

I know that, we are trying to get a picture of one or something...I google searched and Wiki searched and can't find anything other than a picture of a glass Jim Beam boot that you can drink out of. I was hoping someone here was familiar with the term and could give me some specific information.

I drink whisky, but have never heard of it.

It's just a shot glass, no?

Yeah, I believe it's basically a shot glass with the corners 'nipped' in to form a squared-off rim.

I thought "nip" referred to the amount of alcohol. Usually one serving.

it is a square or rounded square style of shot glass. for having a 'nip'.
