Cheesy Beefy Melt

Anyone try the new offering from Taco Bell? I was so stoked to try it out today after seeing all of those commercials during football yesterday. What a letdown! Too Much Rice not enough Beef or cheese.

Ironically "Cheesy Beefy Melt" is what you do in the toilet after eating Taco Bell.

stevew 09-17-2007 01:25 PM

I hate how taco bell slowly starts taunting you with commercials at about 9 pm. Then they pick up the pace gradually, by 10 oclock you have to fight with yourself whether or not you just want to make a quick taco run. Bastards have subliminal advertising or some shit.

heh, I thought I was the only one with that problem. Who needs a laxative when you can just go to Taco bell!

Crapshoot 09-17-2007 01:32 PM

Wait, people actually eat at Taco Bell?

Based on commercials, teen love affairs

Agreed.

Beef Mexi-melt still #1 in my book.

Nice.

I went to Taco Bell and used a credit card to pay for my cheesy beefy melt, does anybody know if there's a way to hide this purchase from the wife?

ArlingtonColt 09-17-2007 01:50 PM

It's not worth the price (1.99) here in TX, I got them without Rice and it was pretty good.

I think what happens in the bathroom afterwards will give it away.

wade moore 09-17-2007 01:54 PM

Ok, I'm confused.

I've never seen a commercial that made me want to run farther away from a product. These commercials make the Cheesy Beefy Melt look like the most disgusting thing ever sold at a fast food place - and that's saying a lot.

You people are saying these commercials actually made you crave one of these things?! are you nuts?!

don't forget the teen love you get with it though

*I agree though. I think my comment was that it looked like it was filled with snot.

cuervo72 09-17-2007 02:00 PM

Yeah, the commercial for it is not good. And what the heck, it has rice??

Now, the cheesy beefy quesadillas...those are good.

Exactly - it looks like that or something worse.

And don't get me wrong, I enjoy some taco bell now and then - but this commercial seriously made my stomache turn.

Meximelts are the #1 underrated item at Taco Bell.

They don't say it on the menu but you can get a Chicken Meximelt still and they are bomb delicious

Eh, I would never eat a Cheezy Beefy Melt, but I love the "steak" chalupas and gorditas. And that Mountain Dew stuff they have exclusively is the bomb.

bbor 09-17-2007 04:11 PM

Did someone say my favorite word?

bosshogg23 09-17-2007 04:19 PM

Everyone craps on Taco Bell but I love their food. Cheap and tasty. I have read Fast Food Nation enough to know that everything is crap, toenails and buttholes. Tastes good either way.

JeeberD 09-17-2007 04:55 PM

I had Taco Bell for the first time in MONTHS two weekends ago in Lubbock. I had forgotten how goddamn tasty that shit can be. :(

JPhillips 09-17-2007 05:38 PM

I thought this was a thread about Britney going commando again.
