I'm just starting to dive into 6.1 defensive game planning. I take this to mean that there's not as much of a "penalty" for using the same defense too often. Has anyone gotten much of a feel for this yet?

In the two MP leagues I'm in, QB's still seem to be completing an exceptionally high percentage of their passes....this includes when throwing into double coverage. In one of my leagues, my QB has had the best three games of the season since we upgraded - throwing for an average of 324 yards, with 11 TD's, no INT's, and QB ratings of 127.3, 154.1, 146.7 respectively.

Conversely, my running game has gone down the tubes since the upgrade. It wasn't great pre-6.1, but it seems to have gotten worse post-upgrade.

I'm using the exact same offensive gameplan as I was in 6.0e.

Meanwhile, my defense seems to be doing a better job of stopping the run, but is struggling more with defending the pass.

Can anyone with a sample size worth mentioning weight in here?

I think he was responding to my comments that it seemed like extreme passing gameplans were worse off, took it to mean that the AI would be allowed to up their pass/agg pass D %'s when gameplanning
