NFL Week 4

Didn't see one started yet.

Browns up 14-0 early on the Ravens. Long bomb to Edwards for a TD after McNair pick plus an opening drive to Cleveland.

Raiders Army 09-30-2007 12:31 PM

Lee Evans has gotten me more points in one quarter than three games.

Raiders Army 09-30-2007 12:31 PM

Oh, and we're ready to start the Raiders/Fins game.

Jas_lov 09-30-2007 12:32 PM

Congrats to Brett Favre for becoming the all time touchdown passing leader! The Vikings have been moving the ball decently so far with Petersen. We'll see if they can keep it close.

Raiders Army 09-30-2007 12:33 PM

Favre is more deserving of certain records than Marino...maybe I'm just saying that because the Raiders are playing Miami.

Raiders Army 09-30-2007 12:38 PM

Thomas Howard with his 3rd INT!

Greyroofoo 09-30-2007 12:38 PM

Some great catches in the Houston/Atlanta game.

Raiders Army 09-30-2007 12:40 PM

BS call on offensive pass interference on BMW.

Why is Favre more deserving?

ISiddiqui 09-30-2007 12:41 PM

Derek Anderson? Where did this guy come from? And this is against Baltimore!

Raiders Army 09-30-2007 12:44 PM

Jerry Porter for a TD! Too bad the PBP guy said it was Joey Porter for the TD....

Because I'm drinking beer and There's Something About Mary was way better than Ace Ventura: Pet Detective.

Coffee Warlord 09-30-2007 12:47 PM

This just in: Bears O-Line is old and worn out. Doesn't matter who's at QB.

Neuqua 09-30-2007 12:47 PM

Tatum Bell is playing with a huge hole in his pants showing his ass cheeks. As if the Bears season could get any worse.

Weren't you following along? Favre has the Heart of a Warrior. It doesn't matter how many times he closes his eyes and recklessly throws the ball, nor how many times the ball is 15 yards overthrown or intercepted, he puts his heart, body and soul into it. How can you not appreciate such recklessness?

Radii 09-30-2007 12:48 PM

This Joey Harrington guy is looking like an NFL QB again today.

RoastDuck 09-30-2007 12:48 PM

Looking forward to the Blanda congratulatory NFL interception interlude

larrymcg421 09-30-2007 12:50 PM

I hate to say it, but I'm kinda rooting for the Raiders today. I despise how the Dolphins treated Culpepper and would like to see him stick it to them.

Because he's thrown more TDs, duh.

There's nothing wrong with rooting for the Prince of Darkness. Give in to your feelings.

Raiders Army 09-30-2007 12:59 PM

Go for it, Raiders. Make it.

Raiders Army 09-30-2007 01:00 PM

Culpepper for TD.

Raiders Army 09-30-2007 01:06 PM

Yeah, so Bears fans how's Griese (alkie) doing for you?

Neuqua 09-30-2007 01:09 PM

Griese to Moose for a TD, woot.

Celeval 09-30-2007 01:11 PM

Jamal Lewis /barely/ gets into the end zone... maybe... the ball touches the line. It's real close - but Billick doesn't get the challenge flag thrown before the extra point, so it's 24-3 Cleveland with 5 minutes to play in the first half.

Raiders Army 09-30-2007 01:12 PM

Damn I got shot down in two games at once. Griese scores a TD and Miami runs for a TD. F it.

Celeval 09-30-2007 01:12 PM

I can't tell you how happy it makes me that the genius messed that up. :)

He'll be better than Rex, I think. I still think Rex is a far better passer, but Griese can handle being rushed a helluva lot better, and won't make as many stupid plays. With our O-Line pretty much sucking, Griese is the better choice. Rex just doesn't handle the pass rush well.

Nice TD pass there, too.

Y'know in the back of my mind, I gotta think that there was some reason why Lovie didn't put in Griese instead of Grossman. I was thinking that in practice at least Grossman gave them a better chance to win instead of Griese. I thought Lovie buckled under the demands of the fans and unhitched his wagon to pacify the media and fans.

Raiders Army 09-30-2007 01:20 PM

Ugh. Big run by Ronnie Brown.

I'm auditioning for an announcer's job with the following line. :)

Grossman gives them a better chance to win.

Griese gives them a better chance to not lose.

Raiders Army 09-30-2007 01:24 PM

Delay of game penalties suck. Chris Chambers spun the ball after he made a huge gain and he was penalized. WTF????

larrymcg421 09-30-2007 01:24 PM

I hope it wasn't fan pressure. I hope Lovie just finally bought a clue. I mean, how many games can a guy cost you before you try someone else. And if Lovie really thinks Griese is clearly worse than Grossman, then there's no excuse for not finding someone else in the offseason.

Raiders Army 09-30-2007 01:25 PM

Cam Cameron has some balls. 4th and 7 and he goes for it.

They could've drafted Kolb. Then McNabb wouldn't be such a bitch.

cartman 09-30-2007 01:26 PM

HOLY CRAP!!!

The center snapped the ball over Romo's head, it goes back about 25 yards, Romo picks it up and scrambles for a first down.

bosshogg23 09-30-2007 01:27 PM

Andre Gurode just hiked the ball about 20 yards past Tony Romo, who then tried to pick up the ball, fumbled, picked up the ball and ran 34 yards(from the spot of the pickup) to get a first down.

larrymcg421 09-30-2007 01:28 PM

Woot! It's the Ronnie Brown show. Now here is where Green throws an INT.

bosshogg23 09-30-2007 01:28 PM

Damn beat me to it ;)

Raiders Army 09-30-2007 01:28 PM

Stanford Routt picks off Trent Green to kill the drive. Congrats Miami for letting Daunte go and going with a system QB.

Yep.

If I was only this good at the lottery.

cartman 09-30-2007 01:33 PM

Incredible drive by Romo. To follow up the recovery of the snap over his head, he runs 19 yards untouched into the end zone for a TD right before the half.

Raiders Army 09-30-2007 01:36 PM

Tony Romo looks like Vick did on Madden last year.

Icy 09-30-2007 01:38 PM

Ronnie Brown is on fire today, i love this play he made, smashmouth!

Raiders Army 09-30-2007 01:41 PM

Man, LaMont Jordan goes down. It's a double whammy. #1, he's the starting TB for the Raiders. #2, he's one of my few backs I have left to play for Fantasy Football. Steven Jackson out....ugh.

molson 09-30-2007 01:46 PM

It seems odd that in 2007, we still have football players getting tackled on dirt baseball infields.

Well, there are only two NFL teams that this happens: the Fins and Raiders.

cartman 09-30-2007 02:15 PM

The Cowboys started off slow, but they are now on fire. 28-7 over the Rams.

larrymcg421 09-30-2007 02:17 PM

Wow, Joey Harrington is almost at 80% completion rate. I think that would make Marauders explode.

hoopsguy 09-30-2007 02:19 PM

Does anyone know what the contract status is with Barber and Jones in Dallas? Are they both due back again next season?
