Lakers vs. Suns
The Lakers are suprisingly putting on a clinic, looking like a finely tuned machine. The Suns look completely lost on defense. I hope LA finishes strong, they definitely need this win to set a good mentality for the season.

Kobe is having a subpar game and the Lakers are still playing well. Hopefully he'll use the fourth quarter to just pass, pass, pass

Lakers win. Kobe Bryant: 16 points. Wow. Just wow. :) |
I'm rooting against the Lakers this year just because I have this theory that if Vic Jacobs spends all season spewing his New Age crap, that the listeners will eventually revolt and tear him limb from limb.
I can only hope. |

You kidding? Unfortunately, most of LA is Laker-gaga and they eat it up. In fact, they're so biased, they make Vic the Brick sound like Hartman. |
I haven't watched the entirety of both Phoenix games so far, but in the halves I have watched, they look a little lost. In terms of execution, San Antonio has played like clockwork compared to the Suns. It's only November, but something doesn't look right with Phoenix. I would think they'll come around to play at the same high level they did last year, but for now, that's not happening. Moving Kurt Thomas may have been a mistake.

So the Lakers deserve their own thread, eh?

It's not the Laker-gaga bit that bothers me. It's the fact that when he talks about the Lakers, it's like one of those refrigerator magnet bits. I can basically give you a set of magnets with the words "Kobe," "soul," "vibrations," and a couple other New Age catch phrases, and you too can create your own Vic the Brick monologue. |
