Brief Writing Sample
 

Im applying for a summer job that requires a brief writing sample. I looked it up and found out that a writing sample is 3-5 pages. But im unsure how long a brief sample should be. Im thinking 1-2 pages at most. Does that sound about right?

It doesnt give a topic. The position is with the Water Resources Board.

I plan to write about the importance of Water Quality.

meh... for something boring like that i'd pound out 2 and a half pages maybe less if you run out of things to talk about

Ive just decided to go with a standard method of composition. the 5 paragraph paper

can't go wrong with 5 paragraphs for something like that
