Tournament of Rock, Rd 2, Grp 3: Guns 'n' Roses vs. Elvis

Vote for the group you would see if both were in concert.

Raiders Army 11-13-2007 10:20 PM

Neither.

PilotMan 11-13-2007 11:12 PM

I hate Elvis.

Fidatelo 11-13-2007 11:16 PM

You know, my first instinct was G n' R all the way. Then I stopped and thought about the bullshit Axel was known to pull at concerts, and about all the awesome Elvis songs and performances, and I ended up clicking on him. Kind of surprised myself with that one.

Lorena 11-14-2007 08:11 AM

Dang, against the King? GnR all the way

larrymcg421 11-14-2007 08:19 AM

Can't believe Elvis is losing this.

Maple Leafs 11-14-2007 10:17 AM

Which G n' R lineup is this? The original one, or the current one?

(Kidding, kidding...)

Jas_lov 11-14-2007 11:28 AM

GnR are a sweet child o' mine so Elvis can check into the Heartbreak Hotel.

For the hypothetical concert that you would be seeing, though, you wouldn't have to worry about Axl pulling stupid shit.

Kodos 11-14-2007 02:18 PM

Get In The Ring, Mr. "The King"!

Ya but I'm not certain even at his best he wouldn't be at least a bit of a tool. And Elvis probably puts on quite the freakin' show.

Actually, the fact that there's a good chance Axl will no-show, walk off, or dive into the crowd to start a riot adds to the experience. It's hard to describe, but when they finally start playing four hours after the doors open, you get this rush of "holy shit, he actually bothered to show up" that you miss out on with other bands.

Sounds great. It would be even awesome if he just didn't show up at all!
