Tournament of Rock, Rd 3: Beatles vs. Led Zeppelin

Vote for the group you would see if both were in concert.

Groundhog 11-18-2007 10:40 PM

Tough choice. Could go either way for me, depending on mood.

Kodos 11-18-2007 10:46 PM

This is perhaps the most interesting matchup we've had so far.

Jas_lov 11-18-2007 11:05 PM

Zeppelin is gonna bring it on home. Hello goodbye to the Beatles!

lighthousekeeper 11-18-2007 11:16 PM

love both, but when it comes down to it, the Beatles were a studio band and their songs are better suited for playing at home.

CleBrownsfan 11-19-2007 06:42 AM

By far the hardest one to choose here... These are my two fav rock 'n roll bands in any era!

Neon_Chaos 11-19-2007 06:50 AM

Have to go with the Beatles.

Marc Vaughan 11-19-2007 07:07 AM

Cmon the Beatles ... I'd have loved to see them live.

Raiders Army 11-19-2007 07:39 AM

Neither.

ISiddiqui 11-19-2007 08:00 AM

I seriously have to question the musical tastes of anyone who votes "Neither".

KWhit 11-19-2007 08:19 AM

How in the world are these two groups meeting this early in the tourney?

I tried to change it, but folks wanted the brackets to stay as is. :)

I love the Beatles, but I don't think they were particularly special live (at least not that I've heard).

lighthousekeeper 11-19-2007 09:21 AM

I don't know what I've been told.
A Beatle-head woman ain't got no soul.

For years I thought that's how the lyrics went.

chesapeake 11-19-2007 10:32 AM

It is a shame one of them has to lose.

Kodos 11-19-2007 02:11 PM

Especially if that one is Led Zeppelin.

Kodos 11-19-2007 09:15 PM
