Was the board upgraded?

I see the stickies are in their own section at the top, I like!

st.cronin 12-06-2007 12:50 PM

I no like.

Passacaglia 12-06-2007 12:51 PM

Yeah. It's been worlds better ever since we started the FOFC Pandora Radio Station. Duh.

I'm sorry folks. I gave SkyDog access to vbulletin.org for the new WOOF forum, and I think he's running amok like a kid in a candystore :D

MikeVic 12-06-2007 01:28 PM

Why is the split bad?

I don't mind the split, but I run the "At the office" theme so I can be on here from work alot.. With the new apperance, it looks alot more like a forum rather than something productive because of a big black bar through the middle.

I guess it is a small nitpicky thing, but it is something i wish I could undo. :)

Icy 12-06-2007 01:33 PM

I like the stickies separated.

Deattribution 12-06-2007 01:34 PM

It's kind of distracting. I didn't think anyone got the stickies confused with other threads.

This is my objection.

Lorena 12-06-2007 01:47 PM

While we're at it, can our WW posts count now?

Coffee Warlord 12-06-2007 01:51 PM

It's awfully distracting and unnecessarily there.

rkmsuf 12-06-2007 01:54 PM

put more bars just because of all the complaining

Kodos 12-06-2007 01:57 PM

It'd be cool if we could collapse the stickied threads.

Lorena 12-06-2007 01:59 PM

damm kodos, you have 10,000 posts!!

MikeVic 12-06-2007 02:00 PM

Oh come on, one bar all of a sudden makes this site attract attention from your co-workers?

wouldn't that defeat the purpose of a sticky?

Kodos 12-06-2007 02:02 PM

Well, by nature, stickies tend to become useless because it's the same thread there for eternity. I'm not having any trouble posting, so I don't need to see that thread.

Change over to that theme and you'll see what I mean. :) But like I said, its not the end of the world, and I doubt I would even have said anything if someone else hadn't started a thread on the change. Since the conversation started, I figured I would toss in my two cents to the contrary!

Nothing to stop the rotation of the world over though, carry on! :)

No upgrade, it looks like a simple vbulletin.org hack to me.

The next serious board upgrade will be announced at least a week in advance, especially after the traumatic upgrade to version 3.6.

vBulletin 3.7 has just been unveiled, but it will be a while before the final release version is ready, as beta 1 has not been released yet.

That's the lamest hack I've ever seen.
