OT-Help with Microsoft Outlook (Saving Passwords)

Ok I got a question, I am trying to help my Unlce set up outlook to read his hotmail account. We both seemed to set up the account fine but we ae having 1 dumb problem.

Ok I typed my password in and clicked save passowrd and he did the same, only problem is it saves mine but wont save his?

what is he doing wrong

I am sure it is the correct password he is typing in since when it asks for his password he types it back in and recieves his Email.

I think it is some kinda of securty setting could someone please give me a hand?

I would really appreciate it.

I dont know really. Did you make a new identity for your uncle in Outlook? That is the only thing I can think of.

Check Tools -> Accounts -> Mail -> Properties -> Servers

See if his password is checked underneath there.

Not to threadjack or anything and I truly hope that someone can help resolve your problem. However so as not to start another thread and seeing how many tech support people will most likely read this thread:

Running MS Internet Explorer v5.5 and when I click on the search icon it comes up as "Sorry, the system is not working properly." and repeats the message if I attempt to customize it. I have searched the MS Knowledge Database and have not come up with the answer. I really can't remember doing anything that would have resulted in this. Any thoughts are highly appreciated. Ok, back to normal broadcasting now. Thanks.

OK I found a couple of answers for Outlook:
