Publishing Screen Shots Q?
 

i got all these screen shots of FOF in Paint files (Bitmap images). i tried to publish them on geocities but they wouldn't accept the format and i dont have photoshop to change them. so how does one upload them into threads and posts, is there another way or am I sool

you can't hotlink from geocities anyway. get an account at photobucket or somewhere similar.

and try doing a save as and change the image type to jpg or png

I always use this because you don't need an account. After you upload, scroll to the bottom where you'll find "Direct Link to Image". Highlight that link, copy it, then click the picture button here and paste the link in. Voila!

it took me three tries to follow directions (lol) but i think i got the hang of it. BIG THANKS to both of you!

so this screen shot is there forever, i can save the link and use it a year from now?
