Apparently, Kevin McCullough of Townhall is in training to become the next Jack Thompson when Whacko Jacko gets disbarred/sent to jail/defenstrated by a raging gamer, because here's a bit from his latest column:

It's called "Mass Effect" and it allows its players - universally male no doubt - to engage in the most realistic sex acts ever conceived. One can custom design the shape, form, bodies, race, hair style, breast size of the images they wish to "engage" and then watch in crystal clear, LCD, 54 inch screen, HD clarity as the video game "persons" hump in every form, format, multiple, gender-oriented possibility they can think of.

The objections to such filth should be simple to understand.

I mean, this guy is to sex in video games as Jack Thompson is to violence in video games. He got called on his bullshit, and went even further off the deepend..

I don't like to advocate violence, because it argues against the thesis of the site, but Jesus Christ. This man should be loosed naked into the savannah, where wild animals - drunk on his heady bouquet - will attempt to drag him in different directions simultaneously. I'm clearly in the wrong line of fucking work.

I agree with the man.. Less sex, more violence! I mean, sex is BAAAAAD.. violence is educational and fun and an important lesson.. oh wait..

I always thought it hilarious that Jack Thompson only had a problem with GTA San Andreas once he found out you could simulate sex in it. Shooting cops & random passers by and glorifying gang activity - all good, but god forbid we show a boobie or make a sexy sound *giggles*

This guy seems like even more of a whack job (guess what douchebag, you have a blog, you are probably just as much of a "gamer-nerd" as the rest of us) The questionable content in Mass Effect lasts about 15 seconds out of a 10-40 hour RPG, and it's definitely PG-13 stuff.

I can't think of a better ad for the game than this guy's quote. It needs to be on the box and in every ad.
