How Do You Change Teams?
 

Does someone know how you change teams after several seasons have been played?
I have been GM for the Lions for 5 seasons, and want to jump to another team after this season, but can't see how that can be done.

There has to be an opening for one. Then at the start of the hirirg of coaches/scouts period click on the choose new team. If there is an opening try it. The help menu says that you should be able to change to a team with a lower prestige rating, which are hidden. Big help there. Anyway, it make take quite a few seasons to change teams. 5 may not be enough.

Thanks. I figured it would work something like that. I am having a great year, and some teams are really bad, so I was wondering if there would be an opening, and if so, when and how.

At the beginning of the season at the same time as coach and scout hiring.

You will see a button choose a new team. Press that and you will find who might be interested in you. it's best done after a bowl win. More interested teams.

You have to do it before hiring a coach or you lose your chance till next year

I don't know how many people picked up on the change in FOF4.

If firing is turned off you can never change teams. Unless hiring/firing is ON, you will never recieve other offers and have to stick with one team until the end of time.

I have hiring turned ON, so maybe I will get some offers. After several 3 and 4 win seasons, I am 10-1 and looking good. Maybe I will see this play out.
