Microsoft Office Help
I'm pretty sure there's an option for this, but I don't remember where it is....
When I open up files in any microsoft office program, the "date modified" changes to the present time, even if I just open it, but don't save it. Is there a way I can turn that off? |

I noticed that, but when you close the file, the date reverts to the original date, doesn't it? At least it does for me... FM |
In my experience, the "date modified" is only changed while the file is open. If I close a file without saving it, the modified date reverts back to what it was.
