Young Drachma 02-08-2008 07:01 PM

Wow. That's just great.

Radii 02-08-2008 07:11 PM

Another excellent season. Thanks for all the time you put into this flere, this is the best thing on the board over the last few years.

JAG 02-08-2008 07:42 PM

As always an awesome end to the season. Really great stuff flere. Enjoy the recharge of the offseason, you've earned it.

Vince 02-08-2008 07:46 PM

Hahahaha. Not sure how you keep coming up with this stuff and making it fresh and amazing, but you deliver every week.

Izulde 02-08-2008 07:49 PM

LMAO!!!

The forces against Eli and his allies were absolutely priceless. I laughed for that whole set of panels.

Best one of the season, maybe ever!

Calis 02-08-2008 07:50 PM

The hoodie just doesn't stop being funny, no matter how many times I see it.

Lathum 02-08-2008 08:00 PM

good stuff

MikeVic 02-08-2008 08:07 PM

Nice!

Buccaneer 02-08-2008 08:09 PM

Behind the times, what is "Four" and "Nine"?

JonInMiddleGA 02-08-2008 08:10 PM

We're not worthy.

I didn't want to be the one who asked

Years played to get a ring. Eli-4, Peyton-9

MikeVic 02-08-2008 08:16 PM

I assumed it meant the number of years it took for them to win a Super Bowl.

Eaglesfan27 02-08-2008 08:37 PM

I was thinking 49 as in the number to tie Peyton's single season TD record. Great job as always.

Edit: Although, Miami fan's explanation makes much more sense.

MIJB#19 02-08-2008 08:50 PM

I thought 4 and 9 refered to P's 4-9 playoff record and E's 4-0. If it's true, of course. :D

Anyway, thanks for another fun Season in Pictures!

Lorena 02-08-2008 09:08 PM

This is the first time in 14 years that we missed an football season (including the SuperBowl)... never again. Every single week was hilarious inspite of missing games week in and week out. Like this week, why does Strahan look all foggy?

Anyway, thanks so much for all the work you put into this, it is *much* appreciated.. I'm a big fan of your work flere.

QuikSand 02-08-2008 09:09 PM

It's criminal that you're doing this for free. You ought to be hosting this stuff somewhere and dragging some cash for the effort. It's quality stuff, honest.

Think of Han Solo's friend... :)

You mean, like possibly, here?

Antmeister 02-08-2008 09:14 PM

Wow! Great job. My favorite line is: "I like him. He doesn't yell at me as much as Jeremy does." It sucks that I will have to wait until next football season to see these again.

cartman 02-08-2008 09:15 PM

But to the point of this deserving a much wider audience, I am agree.

Yeah I should have written "almost" because those were the only 2 games we watched :(

molson 02-08-2008 09:16 PM

Great stuff. I think you need to expand - maybe into the primaries, baseball spring training, Westminster dog show, whatever!

He's done these for a while. If you are new to the board, be sure to check all of the past editions for works of genius.

Rizon 02-08-2008 09:48 PM

Best so far!!!!

kingfc22 02-08-2008 10:04 PM

Awesome job again fiere. Your work is pure gold

ISiddiqui 02-08-2008 11:30 PM

Goodell ruining the Pats' plotting was brilliant :D.

SackAttack 02-09-2008 01:37 AM

Perfect cap to a great day. Thanks, flere! :D

TRO 02-09-2008 08:23 AM

Overall great as always.

One small question - it wasn't Gay that fell down on the Burress TD was it? Gay did have a horrible game but I'm pretty certain it didn't include this play.

wade moore 02-09-2008 09:18 AM

Great way to end the season!

oliegirl 02-09-2008 09:29 AM

As far as I'm concerned, the season wasn't officially over until WiP came out...that was awesome Flere. I second what everyone has already said - amazing job!!!

Thanks! Can't wait til next season! :)

st.cronin 02-09-2008 10:31 AM

I enjoyed it.

Raiders Army 02-09-2008 02:12 PM

I'm glad Tiki was part of it. :)

pennywisesb 02-09-2008 02:14 PM

Hilarious Flere as usual. Great job.

flere-imsaho 02-09-2008 02:54 PM

Thanks everyone for your kind words. It's been a pleasure (though a little exhausting in spots) again this year. :)

In the end, the Adsense ads made me a total of about $4.00. :) So, I took my wife out for coffee.

I'll be honest - I'd love nothing better then to make just enough to do this full-time (or part-time with a part-time job). But aside from the one week where I got linked from hxxp://www.withleather.com, it just didn't generate enough traffic to do so. Maybe next year! :D

As for Gay/Hobbs, you guys may be right. I'll double-check the video and see if I need to update that panel.

sterlingice 02-10-2008 01:37 AM

Another great season, flere :)

SI

mrsimperless 02-10-2008 02:04 AM
