I hate my shower.
Is there any way to ensure that the temperature is maintained without tearing up the plumbing to install a $500 thermostat?
I live in an apartment building and it seems every damn time I shower (I am an Adonis nude) the temp will fluctuate wildly from perfect to ice cold to scalding hot several times during my cleaning sessions. There is nothing like the scream of a man blinded by soap with a sudden and continued blast of ice water raining down upon him, then the frustration of no cold at all. |
maybe your routine is too long

Nope... I'm a 5 minute shower type. No hair to wash (other than on my back, but that doesn't really count) This turns a 5 minute shower into 15, as it takes quite a while to readjust the temp. |

Is the scream scary enough to make a person...say run for the train a bit early? |

Um, going to have to do it - picspls!!!! :)
I had the same problem in my old apt, but the water would slowly get colder and colder, like there was no hot water left. But if you got out of the shower and turned on the faucet in the sink, lots of hot water...made no sense and maintenance could never fix it. I hated that apt... |

I'm confused. You live in an apartment, right? Make the landlord fix it - who cares what it costs? |
