MMO talk: APB
 

I just heard about the upcoming MMO APB. There are a couple of articles about it on MMORPG.com, but the basic premise is that it's online cops and robbers. You design a cop or a crook, and the game sets up opposing missions for you. So if you are a criminal, you will get a mission to steal some merchandise, while a cop of a similar level will be given a mission to stop you.

After watching the video of the character creation, I'm finding myself excited about the possiblities of this game. I'm not going to hold my breath, but if it delivers on what it's promising, it could be a whole lot of fun.

sounds similar to my idea but mine would be better.....if only I knew how to program anything. My microwave is intimidating.

Heh, I just saw that vid after someone posted a link at the CoH forums. It does look cool, but man, what kind of a system would you need to run it?

LOL it was my first reaction too when i read the first thread, did Flash186 finally find somebody to do it?

I'm not related on any way to that project, i wouldn't even steal an idea sent to me privately.
