One for the Baseball nuts
I remember reading a few months ago about a certain pitcher who played for the Yankees in the early 20th Century I believe, who only played one game in his entire career and acheived some record like a no hitter or something.
Can anyone steer me into the direction of his name? |
Art Vandelay?

I don't think your details are correct. Here is a list of notable "one-game wonders".

Hrrrm, you are right, it doesn't seem any of my facts are correct :-/
|
Then maybe it is Art Vandelay.
|
No, its Babe Ruth.
|
One-game wonders - Tuffy Rhodes ought to be on that list

That's a great page. I wonder what's the story behind some of them, since some did appear to do ok in their one game?

Roy Hobbs. Then he became an outfielder.
