If I had to guess, I would say calling in and saying their (non-existent) order was screwed up. Most places will replace food that's been made incorrectly.

yup, that's exactly waht happened.

the way i would steal food when i was a teen would be when i went to Taco Bell with my friend's i'd order like 2 chicken soft tacos. i'd wait for some other # to be called and give my receipt to redeem someone else's order (which would normally contain more food than mine). or sometimes (i had no money as a college teen) i would buy one chicken soft taco and eat about 75% of it, pull a hair out of my head and stick it in the remaining taco and request a new one.

oh man, those were some good times.
