2008 Majors Golf Pool - The US Open
 

Breeze did this last year and since he hasn't posted it again, I'd thought I'd start it up. If Breeze wants to take it back over, he is more than welcome but if not, I'll run it.

The Majors Dynasty will be based on the real results of the 4 golfing majors. The way it works is, each participant selects 7 golfers in each tournament and your team of golfers will receive a point for how they finish in the final standings (first place gets 1 point, second 2 points, etc.) The team score will consist of the 5 best golfers (kind of like 7 card stud - where the 5 best cards count). If you end up having more than 2 players miss the cut, you'll get the highest score for making the cut plus 1. The only restriction is you can only use each golfer 2 times (so no Tiger in all 4 events)

I will post the winners of each tournament at the end of that tournament and the overall winner of all 4 at the end.

I'm actually not sure.

I dont care if you join, and actually it would be more fun if more people joined.. Since you didn't make The Masters...say we give you 5 more pts than the last place person right now? Would that be fair?

I'm fine with whatever...the only thing I see being a problem is that I get a player 2 out of 3 tournaments rather than 2 out of 4--just bringing it up to be fair here. I'll come up with my list later on tonight.

It isn't for money or anything so it doesn't matter to me. We'll just put star next to your name if you win :)
