Russia shoots down Georgian UAV

I thought this was pretty interesting, not only because of the increasing tension between Russia and Georgia over the Abkhazia region, but in how it played out.

The first I heard of the story, Georgia was blaming Russia for shooting down it's aerial drone, and Russia was saying something about it "crashing on its own." Oops, Georgia recovered the blackbox of the UAV and released the video showing a Russian plan firing a missile and destroying the drone.

Pretty wild video in any case.

The UAV wasn't mine, I swear.

I think Russia is gonna have to pay for that. Good thing they are good friends!

Why can't they make the whole drone out of the same material used for the black box? ;)

Of course the drone was shot down. Can't have Georgia finding the secret rebel base on Hoth.

Drones, Korean airliners, they all look the same to a Mig pilot.

The other night while watching the NBA Playoffs, one of the announcer said one of the players is from the Russian Georgia. I guess he saw this coming.
