TC Roster Numbers
 

What is the roster limit for TC to be simmed? I keep hearing that you can sim TC with 70 players on your roster and then some say 60. Can anyone shed some light on me. Also before camp if you sign a player to a small contract( no signing bonus, $130,000 contract) and after camp you cut him do you take a hit on the cap?

Preseason limit is 60. Generally, MP leagues have agreed to a 70-ish training camp limit, but I don't know if that's in-game supported or not. No bonus contracts take no current cap hit if cut before preseason.

70 is sort of the limit in the game. I'm pretty sure it's a hard limit in SP. But in MP, you can get more than 70 if you sign a bunch of guys in the same stage.

i regularly take over 90 players into training camp every year in SP(love sorting through UDFA). Most MP leagues impose their own limits.

Oh goodness, it hadn't hit me. I suppose you can go over 70 the same way in SP that you can in MP. Brain fart there.
