OOTP9 Fictional League Preview: How would you like to see it done?
 

Markus and I have been talking, and I'm going to be doing a preview of OOTP9 for FOFC, focusing on fictional play. Here's how I'm thinking the format will be, but I'd love your feedback. (I intend to start this later today.)

Since there's so much, I'd like to go in this order:

1. Walk through setup options, with screenies highlighting new stuff in particular, but use mostly default options.
2. Sim 20 seasons for a little history/HTML so that those with specific issues regarding development, sign and release, etc. can help spot stuff.
3. Take over a team and play quickly, letting the AI handle most stuff, updating HTML once a season.

I'm thinking that I'll create a closed thread for reading purposes. I would post updates to the preview in that thread, but it would remain clear of outside commentary, so that it can be read/printed easily as a true preview. There would be a second thread for questions/comments/feedback that would be the typical FOFC free-for-all. ;)

Combo of all 3. Walk through the setup, sim some history, and then take over a team so you can comment on some of the specfic day-to-day stuff.

I think that's what he's saying he's going to do :)

Perhaps illustrate some AI roster moves? Trades and interesting releases specifically. I know that particular glitch is supposed to be fixed...but I'd like to see some moves anyways.

Yup. Definitely those three things. I was more asking if the two-thread format will work, and if there are specific things people would like to see.
