Microsoft Outlook

I started my new job on May 27, and everything is going very well. I'm extraordinarily happy. Strangely, however, my manager had an idea for me on my first day. He signed me up for a training class on Microsoft Outlook. I guess he heard something about me from my last employer. :(

That may be wise.

Make sure you use your calendar.

hahahaa, nice.

If an accountant comes up to you and says, "jeans doin' some work", or "titties goin' nuts", you're pretty much done.

Who are you taking the class through? The company I work for does corporate training and that is one of our most popular classes...

I haven't met any accountants yet, so I'm safe... for now.

The company does almost all of its training internally, including this particular class. I guess that's nice since we'll have pretty much the same people teaching everything. It builds familiarity, and in a building with 700 people in it, I'll be glad if somebody becomes familiar to me.

If anything goes wrong when using Outlook, just say, "F'ing Vista!!! Did it to me again!!"

ice4277 05-30-2008 07:02 PM

At least you don't have to switch to Lotus Notes. They use it at my new job and I can't stand it.

JediKooter 05-30-2008 07:24 PM

Lotus Notes...That's so 1989.

MikeVic 05-30-2008 08:50 PM

What if the accountant is a guy?

I guess I'd be plowing a guy.

lordscarlet 05-30-2008 10:47 PM

I know PricewaterhouseCoopers is still using Lotus.

Passacaglia 05-31-2008 10:33 AM

My company uses Lotus, but now that we've been sold to another company, we're going to switch to Outlook. Lotus sucks.

Speaking of training, my manager signed me up for 10-12 training classes in June. I asked him if he expects to see my face at all next month, and he said, "Oh, I'll be seeing your face..." and then the fucker winked at me.

MikeVic 05-31-2008 06:58 PM

Hahahaha. In bed!
