Downtime Explained
Hey guys,
Matt here from OS. I'm the one in charge of keeping the servers up and running. This morning we upgraded the OS servers. What was meant to be all good news (we doubled our processor power and added an additional 8GB of RAM to give us a total of 16GB) did not go smoothly. The service providers inexcusably disconnected a hard drive that caused some mysql errors. We had to take the server down to fix it. The good news is that everything is back to normal and you should notice FOFC running quicker than ever. I just wanted to apologize for this and let you know that this is not the norm around these parts. Thanks, Matt |
You'll get no complaints from me.
Thanks for your help and commitment! :D |
no complaints here. downtime was very minimal (5 minutes?), and the board was already super-speedy so i shudder to think about how it will be now.
i hope we can all understand that sometimes service providers mess up. lord knows it happens to everyone |

My god, is this the type of crappy service we should be expected to get from now on... On a FREE SITE nonetheless!
That's it, I'm leaving! |
