MLB: The Show Career Dynasty
 

Looking for an idea for a thread based on a career within MLB:The Show 2008.

With either I will start as an 18 year old prospect:

1) Shortstop in the Cubs organization
2) Starting pitcher in the Dodgers organization
3) Third baseman in the Phillies organization
4) Closer in the Mets orgainization
5) Rightfielder in the Yankees organization
6) Leftfielder in the Red Sox organization
7) Second baseman in the Astros organization
8) First baseman in the Rockies organization
9) Catcher in the Reds orgainization
10) Centerfielder in the A's organization

This will obviously be a long term career and I will be away in India for three weeks next month so there will be a gap in posting during that time.

Putting in my vote, but will go with whatever the popular vote is.

I put closer - I've played a closer when I had the show for the PS2

Voted for catcher in the Reds organization because you're heavily involved defensively, you have a legit chance of moving up the minor league ladder even if you can't hit and the Reds are an interesting case since they're a small market team and don't have much which would block you at that position.

Looks like I dodged a bullet on that one and won't have to be a Met... ;)
