The Top 100 Most Beautiful Cars

On the same site that had the Top 100 Ugliest Cars.

I haven't scanned the list yet, but wanted to get this thread up. :D

Problems of reader voting... how in the Hell was the Rover SD1 ranked 66?

sabotai 08-31-2008 06:01 PM

Proof I'm not much of a car person. I don't see any real aesthetic difference between the ugly cars and the beautiful ones.

ISiddiqui 08-31-2008 06:04 PM

And the Citroën SM as 35? WTF?!

Izulde 08-31-2008 06:06 PM

Yeah, this list is pathetic. The readers who voted were complete idiots.

ColtCrazy 08-31-2008 10:46 PM

Glad to see the Aston Martin DB5 way up there...just a nice looking car. The #2 car is horrible. Jags are nice, but I've preferred others to what they have at 1.

SFL Cat 08-31-2008 11:04 PM

I think if you chop out 1-3 and start with 4, then the list isn't that bad.

Big Fo 08-31-2008 11:13 PM

The top 100 Ugliest was fine but this list really needed more American input, the top 20 is not impressive at all.

Marc Vaughan 09-01-2008 04:49 PM

What the heck was a Citroën DS doing at Number 2? ...

I agree it was heavily biased towards the European market, to be honest as you'd expect from a UK newpaper really.

PS - You can't really blame the UK audience from voting the Jaguar E-type as No.1 ...

molson 09-01-2008 04:53 PM

I have no taste in cars. A lot of these don't look all that amazing to me, and I didn't find a lot of the top 100 ugliest all that ugly.

weegeebored 09-01-2008 10:36 PM

That list is an effing joke.
