yes, thats an odd response from you indeed, but honestly, nothing was done that deserved this type of backlash.

It all would have been far simpler and easily handled if they had simply looked at who deleted threads to begin with and punished them for being dipshits.

Ah I can agree that it's better to punish those who commit the "atrocities" selectively, but it may be far easier said than done. I'm not a mod, nor do I know how a message board works on the internets, but I would imagine that it could prove to be somewhat difficult.

This is why I'm advocating a FOFC CSI team. :D

Honestly in a week no one will care that post counts and a few signatures are gone. Thats not the real problem. The issue is that anytime sometihng stupid comes up like this the head honcho puts on an idiot cap and tries to kill a mouse with a nuclear warhead.

I certainly never thought I'd ever be suspended from a message board.

I got annoyed when I learned of the "tradition" of deleting threads. I figued it was a mod thing, since they certainly did nothing to stop it, and acted like it was a big mystery who did when there were admissions in another thread.

A day later, they seemed to target individuals with a bunch of other wacky stuff. It absolutely seemd to be confined, for a time, to the one thread and a handful of individuals. It was kind of funny. Maybe it was all a coincidence I was bored, so I jumped in and started reporting random posts. Certainly no maliciousness, and its certainly not about post counts. I figured it was the same entity responsible for the thread deletions of the day before.

The indignation over people who want post counts though, is getting a little old. I like numbers, statistics, maps - I find that shit interesting. It's not that important. People here go overboard if you express the slightest preference for stupid numbers. It's like if your favorite team changed their logo. You might say to someone, "damn, that logo sucks, I really wish they'd change it back", and that person responds, "WHAT - why are you getting your panties in a bunch over a LOGO! Obviously you have too much time on your hands. What matters is the TEAM! OMG! I'm so much better than you that I don't care bout that!!!".

I'll behave myself from now on.
