I'm from the south and know nothing about Hockey. I've only been to 4 hockey games in my life.. 3 of which were Atlanta Flames games before they moved to Calgary...

Alan you should go to Philips area, I have really enjoyed seeing the Thrashers there.

I went to Phillips arena and saw a Hawks game last time I was in town, but now that my mother moved up here to be closer, I technically don't have any family in Atlanta anymore as odd as that is for me!

I'm from the south, what do you want from me??? I think after the Flames moved in the early 80s, the closest hockey team was something like 800 miles away! I don't think we even got the NHL televised in the south.

I'm normally a fan of head to head leagues but it doesn't make much sense for hockey the way team's schedules work week to week, plus this cuts down on the people that try and make roster moves every day to get more and more GP.. that's annoying.
