Injury Proneness/December patch

So, my friend recently moved back to an older PC and simmed Week 17 of our season on that PC. After the game, we realized he simmed it with the old version before the secondary injuries were reset.

So, my question is... will injury proneness be reset again the next time we sim a game with the December patch? Should we just re-sim Week 17 with the patch?
