2008 NFL FOFC High/Low - Week 3
 

Please note the minor additions to the rules below:


The Rules:

-Pick one team for the High and one team for the Low. You may only use each team once for the High and once for the Low per season.

Ex.

High: Dallas
Low: Washington

-Scoring: High score minus Low score

Ex.

High: Dallas 35
Low: Washington 13

Score for the week: 22


If your Low outscores the High, you lose 10 points + 3x the difference between the low and high scores. If you miss a week, you are penalized 50 points (you can PM me with picks at any time if you know you will not be available after the weekly thread is posted) and will have a random team chosen for your high and low that you won't be able to select in future weeks.

If you miss 2 consecutive weeks, your score will no longer be tracked.

If this is your first week playing, you lose 25 points per missed week plus as many random teams from your pool of teams to play for high and low as weeks missed.

The participant with the highest score at the end of the season wins.

One further comment, in the end I contacted PackerFanatic and Lorena about their choosing Houston, but I didn't contact ntndeacon regarding his choice of Baltimore. So as not to penalize him for my mistake, for his low I gave him the average score of the low selections for the week.

Denver needs to score ALOT of points

Just withdraw me from the competition. With missing last week because of the storm and forgetting this week, I have no hope.

I came really close to picking Miami as my low. I cant believe they put up 38 on New England

Same here. Unfortunately I did take New England in my survivor leagues. Seemed safe at the time, my only thought for not taking it was to save New England for later in the season.
