Its seems kinda cool, like Hattrick with fighting instead of soccer. I just signed up today and made a few fighters. If its any good, ill keep you all up to date.

I have signed up a fighter called GoldenEagle on the FOF forum. His weaknesses are politics but he is strong in the soccer area.

Well, i've been playing for about a month now and i gotta say its kinda fun. No where near as good as Hattrick but the fighters fight often (monday,wednesday,friday) and the fight reports are kinda cool.

Its completely free cause its still in beta. If anyone decides to give it a go my managers name is Havok and my teams name is the Misfitz.

Registering now, sounds kinda interesting. Big MA fan anyhow.

Just signed up...my first fight is against some manager named Jeeber D...should be an easy win. :D

Weird. I accepted your challenge but it booked me against Calis.

I don't know what's up with the challenge system, it's all weird... I think it's actually just putting you against whoever the last person was to be created.

Anyhow, as to the teams, it looks like you get a gym, which gives you a bonus to a stat for joining, so maybe we want to create a couple of teams, and people can place some of their fighters in certain ones.

Now you can have up to 10 fighters and you can fire and recruit new ones whenever you want. You can also make your own team (which i advise you to do) and stick all your guys there. For being on a team you get +3 to whichever skill that team gives (toughness,power,smarts etc...).

I think we should all make our own teams first then once we get better, we should take our best fighters and make a FOFC team. But its up to you guys... we can start a FOFC team now if ya like.

Since you get some many fighters, screw around with different types. Make a few "Technaical guys".... make a Few "all out offensive guys", make a few "defensive, really tough guys" etc...
If a guy loses alot earley just fire his ass and make a new one. Also... read the FAQ. it helps alot.

This is pretty fun game and it will be free for awhile cause its still in beta.

The challenage system is wierd... i cant figure it out either. Im just letting the game draw my fights each night for now.

someone make a rookie in the Oceanian Rookie league. i have a rookie there who i just made that doesnt have an opponent yet.

If you guys want, maybe just put one guy each in the FOFC Team Squid, and put the rest in your own? That way at least we all have some connection, make things a little more fun.

Or if you want feel free to add as many into the team as you want, this is just if you want to keep most guys separate.

Thats not a bad idea Calis..... maybe we should all just stick 1 guy each into the FOFC team. Its not good to have a team with like 40 people in it. Some of the best teams only have 5-10 fighters.

Why is it bad to have many people on one team? Do the resources get diluted or something?

yeah...... its gets diluted some. Say you buy a piece of equipment that gives your team +5 points in power. If you have 5 guys everyone gets 1 point in power. If you have 10 guys everyone gets .5 in power, etc....

But also with bigger teams there's more money coming in. So it kinda work both ways. It's easier to manage a smaller team. Since i have a team with +3 toughness i build my new guys around knowing that they'll have +3 toughess bonus.

The Thread Killer is out cold. This fight is over. The ring doctor rushes to the ring but it looks pretty bad. He can't revive The Thread Killer and is calling for a stretcher. They carry the unconcious form of The Thread Killer to the lockers, while Shazzy Loor accepts the applause of this fired up crowd.

Also...looks like any bonus from equipment is per fighter in a team. So what is the disadvantage of having all of our fighters on one team? I mean besides having more money?
