I just read through a third of that thread last night...it had me rolling. There's something about the earnestness and frankness of replies like "Goddamn, your girlfriend is ugly as shit, and I mean that in the nicest possible way." That never gets old.

Definite epic fail. I read the first 5 pages until they kept quoting the pictures and I couldn't take it anymore. I never did find out if the dude was serious or not.

That has nothing to do with me not liking this humor. I just don't like laughing at people. This guy slipped and broke his leg in college and like 90 percent of the kids laughed. If you get your kicks knowing someone truly is this ugly than have at it. As much as I want to run with that and make a joke out of it, I think a picture of her in decent clothes and different makeup go a long way. There is a girl who works at where I get my hair cut and every time I see her she looks depressed as hell, and with a minimum of 3 times the amount of makeup that's needed. I swear one of these days if it's just her and I in there I'm gonna giver her some constructive criticism coming from a guy. I only have a little idea of how attractive she would look like just because she buries it underneath her emotions and makeup.

Whatever you want to call me is fine. It helped me get to know people here. I'm not the type to post daily and keep up with most threads, but wanted to get to know people. JIMG is one poster I really never noticed when I lurked for over 5 years, but that is not the case anymore. If by saying I'm funny and seeing responses later to things I write is not allowed to help me get to know the site than I came to the wrong place. It is really hard to find an open minded person, I think I found a few on here though. I thought also acting like an ass would bring people together by laughing at me, why don't you want to get along now that I'm not being an ass?
