I am an hour off. I have it set to east coast time but it is saying I made my last post at 11:48, did daylight savings time screw up something?

Mine is showing up correctly now. (and your post shows up as 10:48 to me as well).

I don't -think- it was daylight saving messing anything up at least since it occurred Thursday night at midnight. Whatever it was, seems resolved now though.

Edit: Is your profile set to automatically detect daylight saving?

Can anyone tell me exactly what the problem was?

Right at 12-midnight Eastern time, the board started suddenly putting everything an hour behind. That meant posts made at 11:59 showed up as 11:59, and posts made one minute later (12:00) showed up as 11:00.. which made some threads with alot of posts nearly impossible to follow for a good hour or more.

I don't know when the problem fixed itself, I went to bed shortly afterwards.
