PING - tech-type people-- keyboard typing double letters
 

Had an issue come up yesterday. Every letter I'd type would double type (in the old days, if I'd gotten double posts for this, it would have been great).

Also, at the same time, the scroll wheel on the mouse no longer worked. It would not scroll the page.

So I powered down a couple times, tried again, nothing. Later in the day, my wife tried, it worked fine. Worked fine all last night. And earlier this morning.

Then out of nowhere, it started again.
Tried a new keyboard, and mouse, and solved it for a few minutes...then it was back...and now gone again.

Any thoughts?
The best I can determine it's almost as if I Cntl is "stuck", so when I used the scroll wheel, in changed the font size, but would not scroll.
But that wouldn't explain the double letters.
And the fact I still had the issue for awhile with the new keyboard makes me think there is something more to it than just the keyboard.

Maybe you're nervous.

Stop looking at the monitor cross eyed.

What kind of keyboard? Wireless?

Maybe you're in half duplex mode.
