iTunes on Ubuntu?

Anyone happen to have experience getting this working in a VM or WINE?

I haven't tried iTunes in a VM, but Mozilla Songbird has the ability to read songs from the iPod and play them in Linux.

Hmm. Thing is, I was hoping to re-sync up my iPhone through iTunes...

I did a couple of searches and found some people who had come up with scripts specifically for iTunes 7.6, but I believe the latest version out is like iTunes 8... and I'm also hearing various conflicting reports of extreme 'sluggishness' when trying to run iTunes in WINE.
