I just noticed there is a hidden intelligence rating when you go into the player editor section.

My question is does this relate purely to academics or does it relate to court awareness that will allow a player to play above or below his ratings?

I did a search on this but found nothing and am too lazy to run a test although if nobody has an answer I might just have to.

My hunch is that it's purely related to academics, but I don't know for sure.

I don't know for sure either. Although if it is related to academics, then it should have an impact on player development. I believe that someone mentioned in the original FBCB strategy thread that players with higher academic ratings were more likely to realize their ratings potential...
