Seinfeld_l The Seinfeld cast is making another must-see appearance. EW has learned exclusively that the four stars of NBC's long-running comedy -- Jerry Seinfeld, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jason Alexander, and Michael Richards -- will be featured in a multiple-episode story arc on HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm this fall. The cameos will mark the first time that all four actors have appeared together in a scripted TV show since Seinfeld went off the air nearly 11 years ago. No date has been set for this event, or for Curb's seventh season, which will run for 10 weeks. Curb, of course, was created by and stars Larry David, the cocreator of Seinfeld.

The episodes, which are currently shooting in Los Angeles, appear to represent a continuation of David's relationship with the Seinfeld stars. As Curb fans know, Seinfeld, Louis-Dreyfus, and Alexander have made individual appearances on the award-winning series over the years.

Seinfeld: My favorite show of all time.

Curb: Used to be very high up on my list until last couple of seasons. Still an enjoyable show. This could make this season fantastic.

I wonder if he could go back in time and do epiosodes that occured during Seinfeld's run. I bet they could really come up with some funny shit. (Either that really happened or completely made up) Or is that to big a stretch that would fail miserably?

This is tremendous. I think Curb is at its best when they have celebrities playing themselves. And this is really the best possible scenario of celebrities.

I've been on an insane Seinfeld thing lately. I've seen every episode many times, and stopped watching it about 4-5 years ago. On a whim, I added it to the TIVO rotation, and its like the first thing I watch every time I turn on the TV now.

Yeah I am starting my 4th cycle. I watched it religously during it's initial run, watched it non-stop in syndication for a few years, took a couple years off, got a DVR and started watching it non-stop again, and then about a year ago stopped watching.

I am really a bigger fan of the first couple years now as I have seen the Soup Nazi and masturbation epiosodes one too many times. But the trip to the alternative medicine healer and the library epiosode may crack me up now more than they ever had. Great, great show.

Is this pretty much the first thing that Michael Richards will have done since his meltdown? Will be interesting to see if "going there" would be too toxic, but could be awesome if they do. :)

Curb was starting to slip the last couple of seasons, UNTIL the last four episodes of last season, post-breakup with Cheryl. That was the best thing that's happened to this show. The comedy potential here is limitless. And now they're mixing in the Seinfeld cast... I have huge expectations for this season now...

They appeared together on the opening of SNL when Julia Louis-Dreyfus was host.

From the thread title, I thought this was about the cast just meeting at a curb. I mean, hell, it's not like they have anything important to do with their lives these days.

I wonder if Larry David will be put out by anything during the show. That would be funny.

The platform at the Harlem-125th St Metro North train station, where I go to head up to my brother's place just outside the city, has huge ads for "Living Single" all over. And it's not even like they're 15 years old, they're brand new.

I think of Pumpy whenever I see them.

Pumpy Tudors 03-07-2009 11:00 PM

I would totally do three out of the four chicks from that show, and maybe I'd do the fourth one if I already hated myself that day.

Logan 03-07-2009 11:05 PM

I pegged you as a John Henton man. It must be like looking into a mirror for you.

Pumpy Tudors 03-08-2009 12:21 AM

I've got to admit that he is pretty sexy.

Most likely promoting the show being part of the lineup on TV One.
