nhl 2003
 

i know im super late on this. but just picked it up for $20 at target.....for my pc.

it seems ok....has anyone else played it? any thoughts?

I personally thought it was a pretty big step backwards for the series. I thought the NHL series was up there with the NCAA Football series as EA's best, but NHL 2003 was a big dissapointment.

I've heard that Sega's offering NHL2K3 I think it is, is supposedly excellent, but that is of course Console only.

Curious to see if you end up enjoying it, maybe I'm crazy. :)

so far im 9 games in, and am 3-3-2-1. still trying to adjust the settings right.

in games i win ill win 5-0, then make it harder, and lose 1-0, and cant score at all.

last game took a 1-0 lead, then lost 3-1 to the flyers. seemed fairly realistic.

biggest problem is to play 5 min periods, you end up with like 15 shots on goal or so, and will NEVER have a 30 or 40 shot night. not too realistic there.

at least im losing though (on the hardest level). so theres hope. nothing worse than getting a game and winning 9-0 all the time, even at the beginning.
