"Maude" we hardly knew ye
`Golden Girls' star Bea Arthur dies at 86 | AccessAtlanta
LOS ANGELES — Beatrice Arthur, the tall, deep-voiced actress whose razor-sharp delivery of comedy lines made her a TV star in the hit shows "Maude" and "The Golden Girls" and who won a Tony Award for the musical "Mame," died Saturday. She was 86. Arthur died peacefully at her Los Angeles home with her family at her side, family spokesman Dan Watt said. She had cancer, Watt said, declining to give further details. |
Now I feel bad about rolling my eyes and covering my head with my pillow when Mrs. kcchief 19 flipped over to watch Golden Girls reruns last night. God speed.

I bet all of those people that talked about her dick feel pretty bad right now.
RIP Dorothy. |

I'm still surprised that she did a voice in Futurama.

And then, there was Maude. RIP

Sorry to hear this. She was always funny and seemed to be pretty good-natured about stuff (like the dick jokes).
Surprised she was that old. Not sure why, but she seemed to be the same age for the entire time I knew of her. |
